Mayor Bruce Altznauer called to order the regular meeting of the Rutledge City Council on the above date. Council members Tim Smith and Brandy Owens were present as were members of the public. Council members Tony Sells and Brenda Thompson were absent.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Altznauer called for and led the pledge of allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Tim Smith made motion to accept the minutes of the September 18, 2018 meeting as submitted. Brandy Owens seconded all voted in favor and motion carried.
APPOINT PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER
Mayor Altznauer stated that it was time to appoint a planning commission member for the Rutledge District and Maryann Dartnell was interested in serving again. Tim Smith made motion to appoint Maryann Dartnell to the Rutledge seat on the Morgan County Planning Commission. Brandy Owens seconded all voted in favor and motion carried.
QUOTES FOR JAIL ROOF REPAIR
Mayor Altznauer stated that since two members were out they should table the jail quotes. Tim Smith made motion to table the jail roof repair until the November meeting. Brandy Owens seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Tim Smith made motion to exit regular session for the purpose of entering executive session to discuss a real estate matter. Brandy Owens seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried. Tim Smith made motion to exit executive session. Brandy Owens seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
Tim Smith made motion to adjourn. Brandy Owens seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
