CITY OF RUTLEDGE PUBLIC HEARING – JUNE 19, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Bruce Altznauer called to order the public hearing of the Rutledge City Council on the above date. Council members Brenda Thompson, Anthony Sells, Brandi Owens and Tim Smith were present as were members of the public.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Altznauer called for and led the pledge of allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Tim Smith made motion to approve the minutes of the May 15, 2018 meeting as submitted. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
REQUEST OF OPT OUT OF CITY SERVCE – ATLANTA MOSELY
Not Present.
DISCUSSION OF FY BUDGET 2018 / 2019
Debbie Kilgore went over the budget figures. Mayor Altznauer talked about fixing the sidewalks and the roof on the old jail. Tony Sells asked about the contract labor line item of $19.00. Debbie Kilgore advised that it should have been $19,000.00 and said she would make a correction.
CITIZEN INPUT
Mr. Zack Pace was present and asked about painting the fire hydrants. Mayor Altznauer stated that it was on our schedule to paint them. Mr. Pace also advised there were tree limbs overhanging on Centennial and Hawkins that needed to be trimmed. There were no more comments. No other citizens were present.
BUDGET ADOPTION DATE
Debbie Kilgore advised the council that the adoption date had been scheduled for July 2nd at 5:00 PM.
Brenda Thompson made motion to adjourn at 7:50 PM. Tim Smith seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
