CALL TO ORDER
Mayor pro tem Brenda Thompson called to order the public hearing on the above date. Council members Tim Smith, Bruce Altznauer and Chad Cook were present. There were no citizens present.
DISCUSSION OF MILLAGE RATE
Council members discussed leaving the millage rate the same as last year. The assessments went up so even though the rate is the same it would still generate more revenue. Chad Cook asked what difference in money for a piece of property are we looking at. City Clerk Debbie Kilgore stated on a house valued at $175,000.00 the taxes would increase approximately $29.40.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There were no citizens present.
Chad Cook made motion to adjourn at 6:30. Tim Smith seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
