City of Rutledge has partnered with Nexbillpay to extend an additional payment option for customers interested in using their check, debit, or credit card. Nexbillpay is a trusted third-party automated payment service that allows you to pay online.

If you do not have your statement handy, you may request your Account Number by calling City of Rutledge at 706-557-2223.

Even though there are other choices you can make when paying your bill by credit card or e-check, we highly recommend using NexBillPay. The main reason is that when your credit card payment is made through NexBillPay, we receive the payment the very next day, unlike the other services which can take up to three weeks to get the payment to us.  Normally, a payment made through other payment services comes in the form of a check and is delivered to us by mail.  This can cause unnecessary late charges on your account.  Also, NexBillPay is usually the least expensive option when it comes to processing fees.  They only charge $1.50 for payments up to $100.00, while some of the other services charge up to $5.00 per transaction.
