CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pro-Temp Brandie Owens called to order the regular meeting of the Rutledge city council on the above date. Council members Brenda Thompson and Tony Sells were present. Mayor Bruce Altznauer and council member Adam Beckstine were absent. There were no citizens present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Pro-Temp Brandie Owens called for and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the minutes of the September 17, 2024 meeting as submitted. Tony Sells seconded all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
QUOTES – DEPOT / CLEANING
Debbie Kilgore informed the council that there was only one quote for the lights in the depot and it was from Bray Electric in the amount of $2495.00. Tony Sells asked if that was for equipment and replacement. She said yes. Tony Sells made motion to approve replacement of 11 florescent fixtures with 11 LED flat panel fixtures for $2495.00. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
Debbie Kilgore stated two quotes were submitted for cleaning the public restrooms. She said one was from Continental Cleaning, Thursday through Saturday for $240.00 per week. The other quote is from Kayla Ellis, Thursday thru Saturday and special events for 100.00 per week. Brenda Thompson made motion to accept the quote from Kayla Ellis for $100.00 per week, Thursday through Saturday and special events to clean the public restrooms. Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
Tony Sells made motion to adjourn at 6:11 pm. Brenda Thompson Seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
