PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Mayor Altznauer called for and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

DISCUSSION OF MILLAGE RATE

Mayor Altznauer stated that he would turn the millage discussion over to Debbie Kilgore. She informed the council that the rollback rate of 3.018 is what she used for the budget figure in the General Fund. She said that it is an increase over last year if you look at the five-year history but it is because the assessments are up and not because we are raising the rate. The gross M & O rate is 6.036 with a rollback rate of 3.018. This rate is lower than last year. The net taxes levied are $123,754.

CALL FOR PUBLIC COMMENT

Mayor Altznauer called for public comment. There was none. No citizens were present.

SET MILLAGE RATE

Mayor Altznauer asked if there was any more discussion. There was none. Brenda Thompson made motion to take the roll back rate and set the millage at 3.018. Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.

Tony Sells made motion to adjourn at 5:07 pm. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
