CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pro-Temp Brandie Owens called to order the regular meeting of the Rutledge City council on the above date. Council members Brenda Thompson and Adam Beckstine were present. Mayor Bruce Altznauer and Council member Tony Sells were absent.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Owens called for and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – JUNE 20, 2023
Adam Beckstine made motion to approve the minutes of the June 20, 2023, meeting as submitted. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – JUNE 27, 2023
Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the minutes of the June 27, 2023, meeting as submitted. Adam Beckstine seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
APPROVAL OF BUSINESS LICENSE – AAKANKSHA PATANGAY – ATLANTA HWY AMOCO INC
Adam Beckstine made motion to approve the business license for Atlanta Hwy Amoco Inc located at 134 Atlanta Hwy for the gas station and convenience store. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
APPROVAL OF ALCOHOL LICENSE
Applicant not present.
APPROVAL OF QUOTE FROM OCONEE WELL FOR NUNNALLY ST REPAIR
Debbie Kilgore stated that some of the testing on the well was getting close to the limits and the water operator thought it may be the pipping. She said they are going to change out pipes and replace it with PVC. The quote from Oconee Well is $3,839.51. She stated that Nunnally Street is the back up water source and we need to do everything we can to keep it. Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the quote from Oconee Well for $3,839.51. Adam Beckstine seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
