CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Altznauer called to order the regular meeting of the Rutledge City Council on the above date. Council members Brenda Thompson, Adam Beckstine and Tony Sells were present as were members of the public. Council member Brandie Owens was absent.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Altznauer called for and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Council member Tony Sells made motion to approve the minutes of the March 21, 2023 meeting as submitted. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
SPEED HUMP REQUESTS – THE FALLS SUBDIVISION
Mayor Altznauer advised the council there had been a couple of requests from residents of The Falls Subdivision for speed humps. A traffic study is required before any speed humps can be installed. We put the flashing speed limit sign on the main road into the subdivision. He said he would check and see if there are any speed limit signs on any of the streets.
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT – TSPLOST 2022
Adam Beckstine made motion to approve the Intergovernmental Agreement TSPLOST 2022. Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
FENCE ISSUE (215 E. DIXIE) – SHEREE BROWN
Tony Sells made motion to approve allowing homeowner to move the fence back only five feet. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
PARKING LOT / TENNIS COURTS
Mayor Altznauer advised the council that they each had copies of the parking lot and pickle ball quotes and to take them home and look over them so they can be discussed at the next meeting.
FILMING REQUEST – STANDOFFISH PRODUCTIONS, LLC
Mayor Altznauer advised the Council that the company is no longer interested in filming in Rutledge at this time.
BUDGET HEARING INFORMATION
Debbie Kilgore not present to give information.
Brenda Thompson made motion to adjourn. Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
