CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Bruce Altznauer called to order the regular meeting of the Rutledge City Council on the above date. Council members Brandie Owens, Brenda Thompson and Anthony Sells were present. Council member Adam Beckstine was absent.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Altznauer called for and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Council member Tony Sells made motion to approve the minutes of the November 17, 2020 meeting as submitted. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
APPROVAL OF ALCOHOL LICENSE – RAMKO LLC / RUTLEDGE WINGS / RTSN ENTERPRISE
Mayor Altznauer advised the council that the three applicants above submitted renewal applications for 2021. Debbie Kilgore stated that as of the meeting only Rutledge Wings had submitted all the required paperwork. Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the 2021 alcohol license for Rutledge Wings. Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the 2021 alcohol license for Ramko LLC as soon as all required paperwork has been submitted. Brandie Owens seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried. Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the 2021 alcohol license for RTSN Enterprise as soon as all required paperwork has been submitted. Brandie Owens seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
REQUEST FOR SPEED HUMP HOLLIS STREET
Mayor Altznauer advised a request had been made for a speed hump on Hollis Street. He said Hollis Street is short but they do speed there. He stated he spoke to the County Assistant Manager Mark Williams and said they could put the speed humps down for $500.00 each. Council member Brandie Owens stated we have put them everywhere else I think we should consider it. Mayor Altznauer said when are we going to say enough is enough. Brandie stated it is a dead-end street, they may want a speed hump to deter racing. Mayor Altznauer stated he would call the County and have the car counters / speed detector strip put down on Hollis and Nunnally. Brandie Owens made motion to table the request for speed humps until we could get more information. Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION-REAL ESTATE
Brenda Thompson made motion to exit regular session for the purpose of entering executive
session to discuss real estate. Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
Brenda Thompson made motion to exit executive session and enter regular session at 7:50 pm.
Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
Brandie Owens made motion to adjourn at 7:54 pm. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
