CALL TO ORDER
Mayor James Bratcher called to order the regular meeting of the Rutledge city council on the above date. Council members Brenda Thompson, Tim Smith, Bruce Altznauer and Chad Cook were present as were members of the public.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Council member Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the minutes of the September 15, 2014 meeting as submitted. Chad Cook seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Andy Ainsley was present and reminded the council and public that the County work session would be here at City hall at Tuesday at 5:00pm. Debbie Kilgore advised the council that a training session for them would be held at city hall on November 18th.
APPROVAL TO TAKE ACTION ON ORDINANCE VIOLATION
Debbie Kilgore advised that the tall grass at 155 W. Dixie had not been addressed by the owners. She said they were mailed a certified notice and regular mail and had received no response. She stated no one would answer the door or phone calls. She said do you want us to go ahead and either cut it or hire someone else to do it. She advised them that Joseph Prittchet had asked for one more week to get him served. Chad Cook made motion to take action to cut the property. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
Bruce Altznauer made comments about the animal ordinance not being enforced. He asked if we can put something on the web site.
Brenda Thompson made motion to adjourn at 7:16pm. Chad Cook seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
