CALL TO ORDER
Mayor James Bratcher called to order the public hearing on the above date. Council members Tim Smith and Brenda Thompson were present. Council member Bruce Altznauer and Chad Cook were absent. There were no citizens present.
DISCUSSION OF MILLAGE RATE
Debbie Kilgore stated that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the millage rate. She said the millage rate was left the same as last year and explained that the increase in revenue was due to assessments going up. She said the rate has been the same since 2007. She informed the council that even though we left the rate the same we will collect more taxes because of assessments and the state requires us to hold three public hearings so citizens can be heard.
