CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Spencer Knight called to order the special called meeting on the above date.  Council members Brenda Thompson, Bill Spann and James Bratcher were present.  Council member Chad Cook was absent.  Mike Prochaska from the Morgan County Citizen was present.

BID AWARD – CITY PARK

Mayor Knight advised the council that city engineer Martin Boyd had sent in his recommendations on the bids for the city park.  He said after evaluating all the bids their recommendation was for Willow Construction, Inc.  He stated a motion will need to be made to award the bid.  Brenda Thompson made motion to award the bid for the Rutledge recreation park to Willow Construction, Inc., in the amount of $346,500.00.  James Bratcher seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.

Brenda Thompson made motion to adjourn.  Bill Spann seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
