CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Spencer Knight called to order the regular meeting of the Rutledge City Council on the above date. Council members Chad Cook, Brenda Thompson and James Bratcher were present as were members of the public. Bill Spann was absent.
ANNOUNCEMENTS

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
James Bratcher made motion that the minutes of the April 16, 2012 meeting be approved as submitted. Brenda Thompson seconded all voted in favor and motion carried.
BUSINESS LICENSE APPROVALS
Mayor Knight advised the council that a business license application had been received from Joanne Parsons for a flea market located at 145 E. Atlanta Hwy. The name will be Joe’s and it is an allowed use. Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the business license for Joe’s Flea market. James Bratcher seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
Mayor Knight stated the second business license was from Jeffery Thompson for photography and videography services located at 114 Fairplay Street. The name will be Arcadian House Pictures and it is an allowed use. Chad Cook made motion to approve the business license for Arcadia House Pictures. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
Mayor Knight said the third business license application was from Greg Harris for Gem Bar-B-Que located at 231 Hollis Street. He said this will only be a home office and is allowed. Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the business license for Gem Bar-B-Que. Chad Cook seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
WORK SESSION DATE
Mayor Knight stated that Debbie still had some figures to get for the work session and that she would call everyone next week with a date and time for the work session.
James Bratcher made motion to adjourn. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
